AMA Supercross 2023

Suzuki have provided Ken Roczen with encouraging test rides and an attractive payment to convince him to recommit to riding their RM-Z for 2023, with HEP Motorsports offering him an available schedule to complete either SX-MX or WSX races.
HEP Motorsports
The 2023 season has officially kicked off with the announcement of riders and teams for its inaugural round in Anaheim. Twisted Tea Suzuki presented by Progressive Insurance will have two RM-Z450s on the starting grid with Shane McElrath and Kyle Chisholm as pilots while Brandon Hartranft will unfortunately miss his inaugural race due to numerous injuries.
Seth Hammaker will race 250 SX for Pro Circuit Motocross while Jett Reynolds looks forward to competing in 450 Pro Motocross competition.
Brandon Hartranft
Brandon Hartranft remains in stable condition following a motorcycle crash last week in Fresno, California. The Twisted Tea/Progressive/HEP Motorsports Suzuki rider suffered multiple fractures to his lumbar spine and ribs but remains conscious.
AMA Supercross pits elite riders against each other for 17 rounds on custom-designed tracks inside iconic sports stadiums, crowning champions in each class while providing points towards a new 31-round SuperMotocross World Championship series.
Marshal Weltin
Benny Bloss has been making waves recently on the circuit and will look to build off that success with Round 1 at Angel Stadium of Anaheim.
Roczen will join Dilan Schwartz and Marshal Weltin – the latter of whom recently won their respective American Motorcycle championships on Suzukis – on board an RM-Z450 to bring his trademark style, determination, and grit back into the RM Army.
ClubMX
Muc-Off/FXR/ClubMX Yamaha will field Garrett Marchbanks in both 250 East SX and 450 MX for 2023, intending for him to compete at all seventeen rounds of the AMA Supercross Series.

As soon as the gate dropped in the 250SX West Region Main Event, Jett Lawrence quickly took control. RJ Hampshire from Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing and Enzo Lopes from Muc-Off FXR ClubMX Yamaha gave chase before Jett Lawrence grabbed control for good.
Fire Power Honda
Team Honda HRC sealed its 2023 AMA Supercross season in style by winning both Chase Sexton’s 450SX main event victory and Jett Lawrence’s 250SX East-West Showdown triumphs, respectively. Scores of associates and management from Alpharetta Powersports headquarters made the trip from Georgia to Alpharetta Powersports headquarters to witness this triumphant event.
Phoenix Racing Honda riders Coty Schock and Cullin Park (250SX East) and Mitchell Oldenburg (250SX West). Max Anstie finished seventh overall in the 450SX class.
Honda Genuine Honda Racing
Honda Genuine Honda Racing is led by Yarrive Konsky, who boasts a longstanding record of Australian Supercross success. Their combined American and Australian infrastructure resides at Millsaps training facility.
Honda CRF Performance and Pioneer 700 multipurpose side-by-side dirt bikes were on display at the Salt Lake City Supercross, amongst many of their other products and services.
MADD Parts Kawasaki
Bubba Pauli’s successful team, Madd Parts Kawasaki, will continue racing as of 2023. Riders include Freddie Noren and John Short with his signature mustache as well as other riders in his squad.
2023’s rider lineup will include three 450 riders as well as two 250 riders. They will compete in both the AMA SX Series and some WSX races.
Jalek Swoll
Jalek Swoll of Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing will miss the remainder of both 2023 AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross seasons after suffering a spiral fracture to his arm. Our team sends their best wishes for his speedy recovery!

Michael Mosiman will miss the rest of the AMA Pro Motocross championship following his crash in the second 250SX Moto last weekend, while Pierce Brown has sustained back injuries that will limit his participation.
