Hell is Us
Hell is Us is an action-adventure game that combines intense melee combat with the thrill of exploration. Set against a backdrop of civil war and supernatural creatures impervious to modern weaponry, Hell is Us puts players into semi-open worlds as you traverse semi-open environments in search of answers.
Rogue Factor and Nacon collaborated on developing and publishing this game which was released in September 2025. Elias Toufexis of many major television shows and video games including Call of Duty, Assassin’s Creed, The Expanse and Deus Ex was the primary voice actor while Jonathan Jacques-Belletete who provided art direction services for both Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Mankind Divided designed the universe for this title.
The game offers three downloadable content packs – Civil War Pack, Hollow Walker Pack and Military Pack – each offering new costumes for Remi and his KAPI drone, additional weapons as well as new stories and missions.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows
After several delays, Assassin’s Creed Shadows has finally arrived – and, despite criticism from various corners of the internet, Ubisoft Quebec has created an Assassin’s Creed experience that makes running around and killing more enjoyable than it has been for quite some time.
At its heart is 16th century Japan during Oda Nobunaga’s rule and his samurai and peasant shinobi warriors; during an era marked by change and tumult as Japan gradually opens itself up to outside influence. Additionally, this game stands out as one of the most refined, balanced, and well-produced Assassin’s Creed games ever released on the market.
Shadows is an attempt by Ubisoft to break out of its longstanding mold of tall grass, waist-high cover and instant kill bows in big-budget games, wherein big budget games have become mired for decades or so. Here is an Assassin’s Creed game that looks and plays more like its samurai predecessors – an area in which they have long excelled.
Assasin’s Creed Odyssey offers an adventure with more serious themes, setting it apart from Ubisoft’s recent open world titles. Instead of immediately seeing what target you need on the map, instead you must search for clues in town or wilderness to reach it; making for a much more realistic experience especially within its gorgeously rendered setting of feudal Japan.
DOOM: The Dark Ages
Be prepared to embark on an action-packed, bloody ride through the dark fantasy world of DOOM in this epic prequel to DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal! DOOM: The Dark Ages brings fast-paced combat, medieval elements, and cutting-edge idTech engine integration in an entirely new setting to give fans of the DOOM universe something they won’t soon forget!
Combat hellspawn across never-before-seen realms, from crumbling castles and epic battlefields, through dark forests, ancient hellscapes and worlds beyond. Use DOOM-ified melee offerings such as deadly flails or spiked mace, the new Shield Saw that blocks, parries and deflects blocks and parries, plus an any-angle finisher system to crush enemies as you smash through demon hordes more viscerally than ever.
Hugo Martin revealed to GamesRadar+ that DOOM: The Dark Ages will return to the classic gameplay found in early Doom games, with every projectile counting and strafing back into play heavily. Furthermore, players can customize gameplay settings using adjustable sliders – making the game even more accessible than before!
Your Atlan’s style of combat revolves mostly around melee combat, using melee strikes against titanic demons to build combo meters that can then be exchanged for one of two special attacks or an explosive stomp. But you must balance punches with dodges – taking one hit will reset your combo meter, so attempting to avoid enemy attacks as much as possible is also key for keeping combo meters full and expanding them further.
